SolarEdge ONE Controller for C&I v1.6.23 

Release Date: May 2026

This release bundles the following firmware versions for the CSS-OD and ONE Controller for C&I products:  

  • CSS-OD 102: vCR2.2S with ONE Controller v1.6.23
  • CSS-OD 197: vCR197C with ONE Controller v1.6.23

Several new features are included in this release, designed to improve battery commissioning, performance and functionality.

New Features and Enhancements

CSS-OD:

  • CSS-OD batteries now support Modbus protocol, meeting national regulations in several countries, primarily in Italy
  • Mixed CSS-OD deployments are now supported, enabling installation of both CSS-OD 102 and CSS-OD 197 systems within the same site

ONE Controller for C&I:

All CSS-OD models are now supported by the ONE Controller i.e. CSS-OD 90, 102, 107 and 197.

Remote Software Upgrade CapabilityAfter initial CSS-OD installation, the CSS-OD software can now be upgraded remotely. This enhancement reduces the need for on-site visits, saving time and operational costs while enabling faster deployment of new features and updates.
